That's where you're wrong. AI will certainly not take over jobs. I think AI will be more prevalent in a lot of jobs, but it can't completely replace them. Tech is an extremely large field with many sub-fields.

@DarlenePugh If its a Windows laptop, the volume icon should be on the bottom right corner. Its usually a speaker icon. Most laptops have keys for volume control.

Can't please everyone....
1
That's a different topic dude. Look up wireless communications.
1
Quite ironic as you're using a device to type this comment.... Ever heard of self control? If they "Suck your Mind Right Outta your Body", that's on you.

I would say yes, but in the sense that it gives you a good understanding of Linux. This won't directly help you use Kali Linux and all of its tools, but it will help pave the way to understand Linux and how it works. That is beneficial to know, IMO, before moving onto a specialized Linux system.
1
Realistically most beginner computer users won't be using Linux distros.
1
Can't please everyone..... I agree with some of your points, but after that, it just devolves into a diatribe.
1
With what?
1
Not necessarily. PowerShell is used for scripting and automating things inside of Windows. Learning networking may come in handy if you want scripts to do network related tasks.
1
Just download whatever files you want from the internet. That's how I would go on about it. You can download music, pictures, programs, etc
1
There are no formal requirements. It does greatly help to already be familiar with computers and knowing your way around them.

uploaders don't determine the number of ads. Take that up with youtube. That's one of the many reasons I use uBlock Origin.

The #1 rule in computing is: ALWAYS have a backup of your critical data. Windows and Linux are 2 extremely different operating systems and there is no way to preserve between systems UNLESS you have a working back up of your data. Linux isn't a single software so you get your Linux distro from the official distro's website. Ubuntu, Zorin, and Linux Mint are generally pretty good beginner Linux distros. Everyone has their preferred distro and will tell you x distro sucks and you should only use z distro, but another person will tell you x and y distros suck and you should use this other esoteric distro that no one has every heard of. Windows programs don't run under Linux as, again, they're 2 different systems. You can attempt to run Windows programs under a Linux environment using something like WINE. Again, its not guaranteed to work perfectly or at all.
1
Like a virtual machine? If so, that should be fine.
1
File organization is more or less up to you. Whatever makes sense to you is what's best. Your PC should have a Documents folder. You can create folders inside of folders (Right click and choose New Folder) and name it whatever you want. Put whatever files and folders you want.
1
What is saying "aborted"?
1
You can do that, but its not ideal. If you have multiple computers or devices, only one device at a time will be able to go online. That's why you need a router. The router effectively creates a network and allows your home devices to talk to other networks like the internet. Its also not a good idea from a security stand-point to plug a PC straight into a modem. Doing this will expose your PC directly to the internet. It doesn't mean you will immediately start getting hacked, but it does open you to potential security problems. The firewall in Windows is not the greatest. A router minimizes this problem by preventing connections that originated from outside of your network to go through.
1
Good luck dude. If you can't figure out how to setup a virtual machine, you're going to have a very tough time 'hacking'. I know it sounds rude and all, but this isn't necessarily meant for people who don't know much about computers and tech.
1
Push the power button......
1
Its best to use Linux. Most "hacking" tools are written for Linux systems. And if you plan on truly learning hacking, you'll need to be proficient in Linux systems.
1
Good luck! I know the feeling. Start with the basics, but don't rush things. A lot of this stuff builds on each other so it is important to have a good foundation. You have to learn how to walk before you can run.
1
This probably won't be of much use to you unless you plan on writing software that deals with networks. In that case, its important to have a decent understanding of computer networks.
1
You might have some issues my dude 🤣🤣
1
Most teenagers are not interested in computers anymore other than iPads and iPhones. Even when I was in high school in 2011, most of my peers didn't know about computers. Plugging in a flash drive was a mystery to a lot of them.
1
Do you have a specific part of the video you're asking about?
1
Yes. But it won't be very useful unless you just plan on transferring files between the two devices. You can plug in an ethernet cable on both PCs. You will need to set a static IP on both devices so that they can talk to each other.
1
Thanks AI 🤣🤣
1
This video won't completely help you for the CCNA. You can learn the core concepts of networking with this video which is useful for the CCNA, but you need the Cisco-specific knowledge. Check out Jeremy's IT Lab. He has a full CCNA series.
1
lmao. You demand a fix for this fast??🤣🤣
1
Not at all.
1
lol no.
1
🤦🤦🤦 I don't think you understand the target audience. How do you propose teaching people who have 0 knowledge about computers how to exactly identify "spam web and mail addresses"??
1
As rude as it sounds, I can assure you that there are some people out there, that even with the most simple of instructions will not be able to understand it.
1
Well yeah if you want to use the program. VirtualBox is not included in any computer operating system by default. You have to install it if you want to use it.
1
That's great. Though, no one calls a computer a microcomputer anymore. That sounds like a pretty archaic term. I still see that term used in job postings that haven't updated their job description in nearly 2 decades.
1
A lot of the commands on Linux work on Mac. Ideally, you want to practice on a Linux system. I know Parallels for Mac supports M1 CPUs and you can install Linux that way. I don't think Parallels is free, though.
1
I would say yes, to an extent. A lot of cyber security tools are built and used on Linux systems.
1
Not necessarily, but its helpful to understand it.
1
Hard to say without knowing details, like the model number of the laptop and if you've installed any programs recently, etc. I would get rid of Norton. It is a terrible and bloated antivirus solution. If your laptop does not have an SSD, I would strongly recommend replacing the hard drive with an SSD. It makes any computer much more faster than with a hard drive.
1
Windows doesn't like to play very. nice with Linux. It will work, but sometimes Windows updates will override the bootloader and can cause issues when trying to boot Linux. If you want to run Linux on your hardware, you may want to either run it as a virtual machine OR install it on a secondary SSD and keep the Windows SSD unplugged when you wan to use Linux.
1
@antocherian5459 Yep. If you're on a laptop, this wouldn't be ideal to do.
1
Not really. The core information is useful You will need to know this information for general networking. However, the CCNA requires Cisco-specific knowledge which you won't get with this video since its the Net+ training video.
1
Its also hard to read with no punctuation....
1
What do you think, bro???
1
@tkaali6866 I honestly don't know. I haven't really checked out udemy or their courses.
1
Download and install it from the VirtualBox page. I can't post links since YT will delete my comment, but you can easily search for it on Google.
1
@anonymouscode1635 That's where you're not entirely correct. What is intuitive to you and me and many others may not be intuitive at all. You need to humble yourself and actually work with people who are not tech savvy. GUIs are not designed all the same. Some systems are great, others are terrible and others are absolutely horrid in user friendliness and ease of use.
