  1. Yep. Where I live in northern California, we don't have good public transit. And plus, its hot during the summer. I don't know about you, but going for a walk when it is 110 F+ is very unpleasant.

  2. Not everywhere though. Where I live in NorCal, public transit isn't great. Its cheap, but very inconvenient.
