  69. Apple and Microsoft don't control the internet. The thing is, that a lot of those videos use "hacking" as a marketing term to get people interested in the video. You can almost say its clickbait. There are 3 types of hackers: White hat hackers, gray hat hackers, and black hat hackers. White hat hackers are cyber security professionals who use their knowledge for good. They may work for a company's cyber security team or work for a company that specializes in computer security and use their skills and knowledge to test the IT security of their company or the company they are hired to test. They may also to make recommendations for increasing security and/or providing training. Gray hat hackers are in a gray area. They may not necessarily 'hack' into systems to steal or cause damage, but rather to prove that they can do it. Black hat hackers are the criminal hackers who use their knowledge for their gain or for someone else. Its important to make those distinctions. The thing is that its knowledge. Its up to you as to how you use it. This is an extreme example but doctors can use their knowledge for good or bad even though their training and schooling is usually not widely available. I also forgot to mention that it is very unlikely most average people who try to watch those videos will immediately be able to 'hack' devices. Modern phones have usually good security so it is very difficult, but not impossible, to hack them. Realistically, hacking is a skill that needs a lot practice and knowledge about the target device.
