  1. If you know absolutely nothing about computers, I suggest taking a few courses at a local community college for basic computer knowledge. They typically go over the very basics of a computer, like how to turn it on, how to navigate the file explorer, where files are stored, etc. Or if you can't go the community college route, look into the CompTIA ITF+ certification. Its a very basic cert primarily aimed at people who aren't quite sure if they want to be in the IT field. Before you start familiarizing yourself with the ethical hacking stuff, you really need a solid foundation of general computer knowledge. You don't need to be an expert right off the bat, but having a solid understanding of how to use a computer is of great benefit.

  2. You probably jumped too far first. CCNA is not exactly an entry-level cert as you likely have found out. I strongly suggest taking a few steps back and go through the basics of PCs and networking.

  3. Its best to avoid boot camps and/or for-profit schools. They are usually not a good value and way overpriced. We have to make sure you're on the right page. The CompTIA A+ certification is not the same computer science. Computer science deals with how computers work at a deep level. The A+ certification is a certification you earn to prove that you can fix computers (hardware and software-wise) and work on small business computer systems like PCs, laptops, mobile phones, printers, basic router configuration etc.
