  1. I agree about what you were saying regarding driving a newer car vs an older one. My dad has a 1971 Datsun truck. It is from the stone age (relatively speaking), but it is still fun and engaging to drive. It has no modern amenities: no P/S, no power brakes, a very thin steering wheel, no A/C, a stiff suspension, no radio, and is very noisy. But it is still a blast to drive around. And it is very useful as a little truck. You get a very raw and visceral driving experience, feeling all the imperfections in the road, that sweet smell of raw gasoline and no catalytic converter and how not good the brakes are on that thing. lol
