  2. I personally would get rid of the DVD drive since it isn't as useful as it used to be since a lot of programs are only distributed over the internet. In this instance, you would just disconnect the power and data cables from the DVD drive and connect them to the SSD. The next option would be to buy a PCI-E SATA controller. This will give you some more SATA ports to use.
