I suspect there are many elderly people in care homes, like my mother, who are not living, they’re just existing with zero quality of life ( not a reflection of the care).

@adam7802 OK. My mum has dementia and regularly says she no longer wants to live. That's that sorted.

@primordialpouch565 Understand that, but it has nothing to do with my point. She receives the best care she could subjectively and I have nothing but admiration for the carers as distinct from the money grabbing owners.
