Yes, Tory Blair behaved like a Yankee Tory Poodle and was backed by Tories. Not sure where the divided bit kicks in? This country has voted Tory/Tory Lite since Murdoch ascended the throne in '78. The Establishment Corporate (Tory) Media Alliance is all powerful, especially in England.

Someone quoted the instance of muslim parents picketing a school because someone drew a cartoon of a mythical figure from a 2000 year old fairy tale. Not a hateful person but these folk need to go somewhere where their views are acceptable - a hard line brutal theocracy sound maybe? I'm against the extremists on both sides over Gaza but I do not want potty fundamentalism imposed.
