  4. Ironically, there are parallels to be drawn between what's happening now and US interference in Latin America - ok so the latter was covert rather than overt but the US doesn't like the 'wrong kind' of democracy being anywhere near.

What is certain however, is that the vast majority of Ukranians don't want Putin's forces there - or do you ignore the evidence of your own eyes?
