Let's be sensible. Our 'democracy' is the result of whatever The Right Wing Media Monster decides. In other words, the Governments that 'get into power' are......'business friendly'.....dedicated to corporate socialism.... ensure limited or no protections for employees .....and deregulate wherever it suits shareholders and Senior Execs.Our political parties are all in disarray - not just the uber corrupt ultra inept Brexitloons making a pig's ear of everything. Sadly the English electorate compounds these problems by being too stupid /ignorant/ prejudiced to understand what it's actually voting for ....that includes the perennially 'squeezed middle'. Moderate Govt that balances needs of shareholders with stakeholders is as unattainable as ever.
