So, just to recap: The Brexit Government voted against it's much touted Brexit 'benefit' or removing the 'unfair EU Tax' that is VAT on domestic fuel, whilst ,for example, the Belgian Govt reduced it from 6 to 1%. The Brexit govt claimed the above was a 'blunt instrument' - this after it's laser guided assault on the poorest in society with it's withdrawl of the UB uplift. The NI increase will hit middle-income earners hardest proportionately - but the 'squeezed middle' will keep voting Conservative. We get the govt we deserve.
