  1. So the Chief of the Met resigns because an ordinary copper said something that was inappropriate - and it was. And yet we had a Home Office Minister describing the marches as ‘hate marches’. Ordinary copper. One of the most senior politicians in the country. Meanwhile the loose cannon went to Israel to stir things up! She should be sacked not allowed to resign.

  2. What’s really disappointing here is the simplistic binary ‘cowboys’n’ injuns’ mentality. Palestinians Bad Israel Good. I saw some Pro Palestinian marchers covering their faces. Not a good sign. However, I’ve no idea what % of the marchers (I exclude the Jewish ones) are pro Hammas any more than I’ve any idea how many Jews support Netanyahu.
