  1. Depends what ‘success’ look like to a very dishonest Brexitory Party. It could be argued that it’s deliberately facilitated this backlog fiasco to enrage a certain type of voter and encourage the demonisation and scapegoating of asylum seekers. It then uses this populist backlash as leverage for any number of potty hair-brained schemes/scams and blames another scapegoat - in this case ‘the lefty lawyers’ for Govt failure.
