I guess it does feel better actually owning your own thing. I still like to buy solid copies of video games due to practical reasons like the internet is down. I'll never buy vinyl or enjoy it. Other people ruined it for me. Audiophiles and literally all the people I met who do vinyl were pretentious snobs. Like oh you can hear that it isn't some expensive ass cable. No I don't hear a difference now that you brought your own - literally the same. That cable you used before hand is literally just branding. Someone tested it - are you telling me you hear better then instruments scientist use? Things like that just ruined it for me personally.
