I need a liver and kidney transplant. You'd think dying and feeling weak and shit is the worse part. No it is the fact I have a fluid restriction and cannot produce urine. Drinks are like the highlight of my day. So it is VERY important I have exactly the right juices(I combine three into one. One of them cannot be replaced at all and only one store carries it.), lactaid protein, and soda. I was drinking Dr. Pepper for a while but sick and tired and now trying all types of ginger ale to replace it. My mom who does the shopping, God bless her, is getting super annoyed with me as I have yet to find a soda to replace it. If I ever get a transplant the first thing I'm doing is chugging a huge glass of ice cold chocolate milk. It's the nectar of the gods! I am going to drink until I cannot drink it anymore and puke and then drink again haha. No seriously it's pathetic but people have no idea how hard it is to be thirsty 24/7 but being surrounded by fresh cold water. I wish my kidneys didn't fail.

@bjcarew Ginger Beer FTW. Also certain brands of Sparkling Water can hit hard like Ginger Beer or ale. I'm loving Fever Tree for instance with their Ginger Beers and their Yuzu Lime Sparkling Water. Navy Hill Blood Orange Sparkling also is good. Haven't tried Fever Tree Ginger Ale. Curious on how it will taste but been dissapointed with the lack of carbonation.

@yolandagrabowski6043 Water is a waste to me due to my disease, but I wish I could. I would be better off drinking something like chocolate milk. Skim milk is the best BTW for hydrating. Craxy isn't it? I need to gain weight so I get lactaid protein. My body doesn't absorb carbs right or more importantly store them so the extra protein and fat help a lot. There are some days though where water just looks so tasty. Drives me nuts.
