@@MacristoBeing told to go somewhere else isn't tyranny. It is being pragmatic. If you want to live in a new place, from a people who've you never helped or cared for? Well earn it. No one owes you anything. It becomes more ridiculous that people are picking, and choosing what country they want to go to. Also, illegal immigration doesn't seem to be going well for some countries in Europe. Not all cultures are compaitable, and people are leaving for the wrong reasons who want nothing to do with the culture of the country they seek asylum in. They even seem to drain resources, and not give back. Why should anyone care for such? I'm all for legal migration. I think that is one of the best things about the west. Illegal immigration is an other story.

@MMHoldingsInc Russia is in a war time economy mate. Whether they admit it or not. It isn't sustainable. It is over heating. I do think people are over estimating how quickly they will fall. Or under estimating Russian people to be tired.

As an American. Yeah immigration and the economy seem to be biggest issue I see on SM and news. Keep seeing how Germany for example is struggling. The EU I think is a great concept. Yet needs to be more flexible; and a way to override some countries. Also it amazes me that countries are expected to accept immigrants from certain countries. Some cultures simply do not mesh with Western values, and are diminishing the countries they are in. Only accept educated people who want to assimilate. All the refugeea and immigrants should be able to be denied without reason.

Yeah their death rate due to alcoholism is insane. People die like 10 to 15 years younger to comparable countries. During the Soviet Era vodka sales were 25-35% give or take their tax revenue. That situation only became worse during the 90s. Then when they tried doing something in 2010 people switched to worse drugs so they stopped it. Anyway Russias demographics are a huge deal before the war, and now Putin made it so much worse between casualties and brain drain.

@webbugt Average American works 15% more than Europeans. Yet we have more GDP. He just said cost parity is similar so you guys simply work less and buy less to show for it. Americans are wealthier, but Europeans have more time. If I were taxed at such high rates I wouldn't want to work either. Where America shines hands down is for high paying jobs in fields like tech or finance. I've met many Europeans who came here simply for that reason. It was cheaper for them to get a huge salary. Pay less in taxes. Then get their own medical insurance, and such. Some moved to dirt cheap areas then worked remotely, hah. Mofos avoiding high cost of living like the plague.

@jimpark8379 That is true but American companies are pretty uhhh open. They would sure sell their effin souls to make a buck for the shareholders. I mean it wouldn't make sense for any company to work with some other company when it doesn't benefit themselves in some way. I was using Isreal and Australia as an example of working with companies while also maintaining their own manufacturing. It benefits all involved opposed to just purchasing manufacturing rights or just buying items... Why? Geopolitics change on a dime! It is good to have your own scientist and engineers while supporting the towns local businesses as well. People do forget a lot of the money that goes into the defense industry and military is recycled back into the economy. (Still need to crack down on corruption and get rid of the monopolies while increase auditors to 1980 levels.)

@eleonor7299 That cost extra to keep peoples mouth shut. Like most black market endeavors. Gotta pay to keep things running smoothly. Now how much more is up for debate. Above market rate that is for sure. Or more likely Russia is giving a solid discount, and probably why Gazprom is losing so much money man. Hearing them talk in their reports is hilarious. Gazprom leaders don't seem thrilled about this all. Like a kid denying their home life isn't hell. (Or a kid knowing if they tell the truth they'll find themselves walking out of windows.)

Europe and America hold no responsibility to anyone who thinks they can just waltz somewhere univited to live. This goes for any country. Legal migrants can come. Illegal ones should be denied entry, and stopped as much as possible. Especially ones who do not share the same values. Then who am I to say. I mean hey, your peoples values/culture/religion apparently got you into this mess with a failed terrible country you are fleeing. So maybe don't bring your culture here as it kinda sucks. Leave that at the door, or should I say gate or boat. Anyway that is just me.

Turkey only looks out for Turkey. For better and worse. I agree with an other comment on Turkey likes a weak Russia. They want the wealth in the baltics themselves. Hell Erodogan always talking about the Ottomon Empire, and has imperial ambitions. He knows Russia is weak. Putin has destroyed half the Soviet army. Took generations to build that. Their demographics are crap. Russia is nothing now, but a gas station.

South Korea is getting in on it too now. French definitely and perhaps Japan are still salty about Australia going with the UK and America so they could build their own subs. Which is the smartest move for every country - invest in your own manufacturer's and it will pay off. Might not get the best for the least amount of money but you help your own people and don't have to worry as much on geo-politics. I'm all for countries going the Isreal route. Build your own but work with the best. Isreal doesn't mind working with Raytheon for instance for missile defense and it benefits both countries significantly.

@paul1979uk2000 The only accountability that should be focused on is personal responsibility of the viewer learning to digest information. Or teach critical thinking. What are we now? China? People say lies, or are racist, or say things some don't like and we shut it down? Just ignore it. Like we have since the dawn of the internet. Racists have been online since I remember back in 96. I think getting a grasp on what the other side is thinking is a good thing. Twitter didn't start those riots. It was just a spark, and the story being untrue or true doesn't matter. It would have happened anyway. People are clearly getting fed up with all these immigrants who don't want to assimilate, want hands out, and raise crime rates. That is giving the right wing more leverage across Europe, and the left is doing absolutely nothing about it except turning the other cheek. Acting like those people's plight should be our responsibility, and that people who disagree don't matter. So they shrug those people off, ban them, call them racist, and that forces people to be even more extreme. Like them or not they do matter, and until the immigration issue is fixed the right will only get more popular. If we are to hold any people liable we need to start with the "news agencies.", and get rid of their protection where they can say they are just entertainment. Most don't trust the news, and then turn to SM for it. That is the larger issue at hand.
