  1. Turkey only looks out for Turkey. For better and worse. I agree with an other comment on Turkey likes a weak Russia. They want the wealth in the baltics themselves. Hell Erodogan always talking about the Ottomon Empire, and has imperial ambitions. He knows Russia is weak. Putin has destroyed half the Soviet army. Took generations to build that. Their demographics are crap. Russia is nothing now, but a gas station.
