  1. Yeah their death rate due to alcoholism is insane. People die like 10 to 15 years younger to comparable countries. During the Soviet Era vodka sales were 25-35% give or take their tax revenue. That situation only became worse during the 90s. Then when they tried doing something in 2010 people switched to worse drugs so they stopped it. Anyway Russias demographics are a huge deal before the war, and now Putin made it so much worse between casualties and brain drain.
