The other issue is democracy is slow. Bloated. Has a lot of inefficiencies compared to others. Democracy needs a lot of good leaders in order to succeed. A lot of failed democracies are just as terrible as some authoritarian countries as far as corruption goes. The older I get the more I see that western democracy needs groups of people to actually want to work together which might not be possible. Trying to get five groups with century old tribal fueds with modern conflict just isn't going to work I think. Democracy doesn't mean free or liberal either. If a group wants to democratically vote to slaughter the other then well... Not exactly ideal is it? I think Singapore is a good example of where an Authotorian government can make a country better. I forgot his name, but he set the foundation for a great country. El Salvador seems to be doing better, and also sliding into authoritarian. I'm a pro democratic person at heart. I just don't think it might be the best solution for every country at every moment in their development. Having a working democracy isn't easy is all I'm saying. People want stability, security,, and to be able to gain wealth. They don't care who gets it done. As long as their voices are heard.

@animusadvertere3371 Most studies state it takes about 30-60k miles before EVs become better for the environment. That number is coming down significantly as we have first world mines start mining lithium in a more regulated manner. Also improvements in mining, and making EVs. Lithium is also recyacble now.. Gas used in power plants then sent to EVs is a superior way to use the gas we do use. The electric motor is incredibly efficsnf compared to ICE. 3 times as much. Nothing is purely green. What matters is we produce less, and become more efficent with our consumption. EVs are already great for 90% of the world's population. They and renewables are getting better year after year.

@TheBooban I partially agree with you. Chinas aging population and the fact they ignored health to get rich fast is rearing its ugly head soon. Sure eating white rice grown in contaminated soil with heavy metals and other toxins cooked in sewer oil won't flat out kill you. Yet it will take its toll... Not to mention the pollution and toxins in the air or products made with dangerous chemicals... All of this is going to catch up soon and create a huge medical burden. Then again in order for a country to have cancer or an illness you need to be diagnosed with it! Yet there is a shortage of doctors but no shortage of corrupt beaurcrats who smudge records to keep their superiors happy. Chinas government was happy to cut corners or just didn't care and the population will hurt because of it. Now will China go away anytime soon? I doubt it unless they continue to piss everyone off and become isolated somehow but I don't see that happening. As you said their population is still second in the world and the government can pivot on a dime relative to western countries. China just needs to relax trying to flex on every country in the South China sea. I wouldn't underestimate India either. Feel like WW3 will be both them and China due to water from Tibet. Anyways it is hard to tell with China since the CCP only shows what it wants and greatly hides its true weaknesses. Some experts say their economy is worse than they say it is for instance.

@NeostormXLMAX What is the US? Taiwan? America is probably the most vocal defender of Taiwan for a western country. Europe can't even band together to actually give Ukraine enough. They gave too little too late overall although some countries are stand outs like UK and Poland. Seriously what happens in Asia right now will shape the world. You guys want the CCP to own Asia? That is their goal - and make no mistake the Han only care about the Han. Europe absolutely should support Japan and Taiwan. If Russia is a real threat they would do fucking more or send more.

Somehow China made the US look like the USs policies look good. Amazing. Turns out when you're constantly doing unfair trade practices on top of being a massive douche. People would rather side with your enemy that they don't like either.

@holyfordus haha Trump ain't wrong. Who would have thought Americas economy is sort of tied to our allies over the last century, and they aren't going to put up with being threatened by him with huge tariffs. Screwing up supply chains. Why would any country trust America with their economies after Trump literally screwing over everyone, and going back on deals. Trump siding with weak ass Russia for no deal at all. Russia is the one trying to destroy the dollar being the world standard. What is next. Golf with Xi to sell for Taiwan for nothing too? Republicans have gone full retard. Remember those old tabloid newspapers with crazy things like "proof bat boy exist" showing a vampire kid in black and white? Trump and Republicans were the type to pick up those up in line at the grocery store during the 90s, and think it is real. LoL. Gone full retard like I said.

Strong American dollar is good for Americans buying foreign stuff. And helps fight inflation. Anyone who thinks they can predict the global economy right now is honestly a fool. Especially with Dump as Musks puppet.
