ASLM + Whoever the hell makes their stuff and TSMC are insane. Surprised they aren't worth more TBH, and it's crazy what they do. I still don't understand ASLM isn't in the FAB industry.

@juno1597 ASLM is the second half of that coin. TSMC doesn't make the EUVs neccessary for 5nm.

@Celis.C Yup. Like who makes those mirriors and who makes the tools that - THAT company uses to make those mirriors and so on. Who makes the measuring tools for such precision. 8,000 suppliers mostly in the west for ASLM. 130 mil per EUV machine with handfuls being built per year. I remember reading the hardest part of making a nuclear bomb was the engineering and material aspect and not the theroy or design. It's insanely impressive and that's without the architecture and designs of the chips themselves. Truly underrated and we as consumers expect more and more every year.
