@sidewinder3422 Hey know any other creators that do deep dives on manufacturing? Would love to AsianT here to do a deep dive on the F 35 and how many suppliers and manufacturers it takes to build it. I think each country has parts it specializes in.

@ArawnOfAnnwn Well TBH there aren't many products that China creates that you can't find home grown or from a close ally. China's strength in manufacturing comes from output and how quickly they can maneuver an entire factory for a cheaper product. Not to mention their factories have all the suppliers right there which is incredibly useful. We buy things from China due to them being able to produce them cheaper. I'm not sure what field China excels in TBH that other countries don't have locked down. I know they are catching up though and will surpass us. Say what you will about the CCP but it can get fires burning much faster than western governments. I want to see Asian do a deep dive on the F 35 and suppliers. He opened my eyes to the world of manufacturing and how important it is to have a base. On top of how many specialized cogs and belts are required in the machine to create a final product we basically take for granted. Things you simply cannot just throw money at or pay for expertise.

@anthonyxuereb792 War is ugly. You're going to find all sides did terrible shit. Make no mistake a land invasion of Japan would have been the bloodiest and most gruesome battle of WWII. The Japanese people as we know it would be basically wiped out due to their culture of fighting to the last man - I believe they literally would. The Atomic bombs saved what was left of Japan. Also war crimes... Ever read about Manchuria? Unit 731? Just how the Japanese treated any prisoners, women and children alike? Strawman at its finest my dude.
