  1. Your answer is... MONEY. It is that simple. Fission has never been cheap, especially against gas or coal. Fission price has only increased and not decreased. You can only make it so cheap, because as South Korea proves with their scandal. Nuclear is only safe if everyone actually follows the rules. Proving people are following the rules costs MONEY! This goes before all the other political BS, and gas lighting and ignorant lies. If people could actually get the technology to be safer while decreasing cost then we would be using it no matter how weary people are of it.
