I don't understand how he doesn't see left or right useful as a quick descriptor. It is a generalization. It is useful, because the current bipartisanship is at quite the insane levels. It is hard to ignore that terminology when politicans, and the masses themselves use it. Or willingly identify themselves as it. It doesn't matter if the media is being controlled by billionaires, and it is all a ruse. It is still useful information to get a rough idea of the news sources general stance. We live in a imperfect world, with imperfect people. We are stupid as groups. It doesn't help everyone has such a short attention span so I can see why they use such language. I wonder if any sort of AI agent that is neutral could go through the media to categorize it better.
