  1. Water and ice do have a taste. Try pure water that's been di ionized. Containers taste different even when not stored. I prefer chocolate milk from the red plastic cups over glass or hard plastic. I once was given an infusion through and tasted it. I asked them was that iron or something and they said yes. Same goes for saline solution which I love especially when I'm allowed to drink anything. Potassium supplements have a strange metallic, battery, or salt like taste.
