  1. Yeah it boggles my mind that they PHYSICALLY store energy and we somehow can control the discharge. Always thought they were only good for quick dumps. Like opening the bottom of a container instantly. Thought cache was just a type of RAM but for a specific part? It isn't? TIL!

  2. I don't understand won't the train still make contact causing friction ? Are you talking about using magnets to slow down and recouping some of the energy. I'm just not following how this will help if what I assume friction is the issue to begin with.
