  1. I always wondered if it was possible to create an Hot Air Rigid Airship that stays aloft using solar. Basically you would have solar covering it storing electricity that would be used to heat up air inside the ship causing it to float. Also using the same electricity to power the fans for maneuvering. This would allow you to basically float indefinitely without the need for refilling except for supplies. Of course you could have a small hydrogen back up generator as well just in case. Yet this would beat hydrogen or helium airships that tend to leak, and need to be refilled. Helium is limited, and expensive. While I don't think Hydrogen is as vad as people say? There is always that risk. If I were filthy rich I would build that instead. Have a nice little flying condo that is always moving so I can stare down at ya filthy peasants with a telescope, and gods eye view. When I mentioned it to someone else. They told me to boil water as steam does have a lot of lifting capacity.
