  1. He isn't harsh. I've read interviews of movies who had experts, but the producers were like don't make it too accurate. Due to liability. Hot wiring a car for instance is what comes to mind. I think some company was sued for teaching people. If you notice they still use red and blue wires in modern cars and I honestly don't think that is a thing anymore. So yeah they always are careful.

  2.  @EdoKwin  If I replied twice sorry, and it isn't relevant today anyway from what I've been told. I mean I learned this information in 2000. Hollywood makes everything look easy. There is a video on YT where this dude uses lasers and can break into a smart home through a window. I'll try to find it.

Remember seeing a video of it and it reminded me of eh I dunno a spider web or snake with the way it shot. I did know the purpose. Now I shall look up the vehicle. Who makes it Yada yadaaa yadaaaa!
