  1. It isn't just him. Scientist, and smart people complain about this all the time. The more knowledgable you are on a subject the more you realize how incomplete our knowledge is. In fact ignorant people generally overestimate their knowledge on subjects. I think there is a phrase for it.

  3. Not even just forgotten. Now he gets recongition, and they are partially saying he wasn't quite skilled at one point! The way I see it? Navigators > Pilots. Yet we give only pilots the fame! Even in Sci Fi like Dune and 40k! Space Marines get all the credit. Who is getting them, their supplies, and reinforcements to keep the Imperium togetger! That is right it is the astropaths(pilots), and navigators(uh navigators!). Anywho that is what happens when you have a woman navig... I am just playing I am not finishing that sentence. I never realized how many poor choices they all made. RIP to the both. I wouldn't have attempted it unless I had confidence in myself to do it right which I never would.

  4. I laughed and I get the joke, but even if you understand rocket science you still have to build the tools that build the tools who build the tools. Speaking of that does anyone know a good video on who creates industrial tools? My uncle use to fix manufacturing lines that broke down. Like who makes, design this assembly line and the parts! I was watching an Elon Musk video where he showed off this crazy ass mold for the truck.

  5. China made one with a hardness of 113gp and Germany one with 119. Are they economical or have enough toughness I don't know! Nor do I know if they can be used as touch screen.

  6. ​ @strelocl Right. What is that guy talking about. AI is amazing alresdy for some task. It will only get better. People worried about being relevant in the work force. AI will take their jobs, and that to me is good. Humanity has always made certain jobs obsolete by developing tools to make thing's easier, and AI is no different. I dont care if your work skills become useless. It allows us to spend our time being even more productive and constructive.

  7. I've been told a few reasons. 1) Age. You lose the ability to hear certain hertz. 2) Do not frett. Your hearing could be fine, but your phone and sound system just simply aren't putting out! That is what you get for being a simp. JP.

  8. Don't even gotta get that small to feel it. I have double organ failure, and dropped below 70 pounds in 2022. I definitely get colder way way easier than I use to. Now I'm 100 pounds and constantly wearing 3 layers of clothes when I head out in 50 degree weather. When I look around at my dialysis clinic. Much more of the skinnier people need blankets, and complain about the cold. Now a part of that is due to the fact a half a liter of blood getting taken out for circulation so the machine works is a bigger factor for a smaller person. Yet overall larger people just handle the tempature better.

  11. Saw someone say who will be bigger. Veratasium or MKB. I have nothing against MKB. The recent controversies mean nothing to me. I just hope it is V, simply because he does such good educational issues on various subjects I never thought twice about. Also not trying to sell me things.

  12. We use both which quite honestly so stupid on daily life. Yet I think if I was going to stick to my guns I will ignore Celsius. I haven't found out why we should switch to that. Yet everyone in America and England uses a combination of all by shopping ALONE.

  13. I had a hematoma on my bottom lip. It bled for over 12 days, and three weeks later I can drink. It is a bloody damn thing. Short of being mauled by a dog or stabbed? I've never bled for so long.

  14.  @dr.chimpanz.1324  That isn't a problem. It is a very beautiful thing allowing anyone to create things without relying on others. AI is a tool to open up that door, and make it much easier to produce things. I don't care if it makes someones skills outdated not valuable to everyone. Now it opens up more doors, and ideas for everyone. Not just those who dedicated lives to Master a this or that. What intellectual jobs do you speak of, because people have been going after other forms of work for the longest time. Machines replaced craftsman, and laborers. Good that we have a tool to replace "creative" people now. We are getting robots and self driving cars too. And I disagree it will get rid of the actual creative people. Their stuff will still be valued by others. Art is valued based on human skill. It only gets rid of the grunt work. Helps make things for less, and faster. Jobs for the sake of jobs is a selfish, and doesn't work out. Keeps countries poor. Soon you or I will be able to make our own games, movies, and music, programs, research, simulations, etc all in way way less time. We just need to change our society to fit this new power. Capitalism, and Communism which focus on labor will become as outdated as fuedalism if we survive.

  15. I don't know man. My family, myself and friends always broke their phone with it falling essentially perfectly flat on the face. Some of them from a sitting position like getting up from a chair or out of a car! It is a very nasty sound. Now if I were to break a window or a screen then pressing on the corner with a hard object for sure is the weakest point. Or throwing a rock at the corner of a glass window or screen, then for sure I agree. But as far as just dropping. A perfect flat face drop is the one that always worried me short of it falling on a small hard point like a concrete corner. Well, that is just obvious, and sucks.

  17. I don't understand how it abruptly stops. That isn't intuitive at all. Due to newtons laws a force in motion should stay in motion. Yet it goes from spinning then changes direction which okay - i gotcha. Yet the fact it stops basically to the opposite direction before ABRUPTLY stopping. While rotating still around the first axis. Then it SUDDENLY goes to the previous direction before stopping again! How. Why.

  18. Like the movie Daywalkers? Yeah sure we could. Yet that would add significant cost to the vehicle. Did he not also mention light also harms them? Imagine driving with night vision, then some prick turns on their high beams. Or starts flickering it. Bam your blind plus your 40k $ system isn't able to function anymore. I think we do not do it for a myriad of little reasons. Those are just a few that I instantly thought of.
