  1. I was born in 86. Definitely taught by OGs as I was the youngest. Some were like mid 30s and 40s back in late 90s early 2000s. Anyway they told me there was a difference between a black man, and a hard R, N word. Don't be the later. (Paraphrased as not to be banned). I am not even black. I am half white, and something else. Native America supposedly. It always stuck with me. Our area didn't have gangs either. I remember walking with one OG through one part of an other getting weed where we came across like five 14 to 18 year olds. He made us walk around. Was like yo them YN are crazy, and will just do stuff cause. Nah we walkin round. Not trying to get jumped. 2 weeks later I am watching the news, and a Dominos delivery guy was killed. Not robbed. Just killed. Why? Because they were bored. I am positive at least one or maybe two were the ones we were about to walk by while they were chillen on a stoop. None of em have no self respect. Sad cause I wasn't raised like that by even the felons. Somehow lost mentors in the 2000s it seems.

  2. If any gangs had self respect, honor, and wits. You'd be wrong. Since no modern gangs do in America you are right. Where I lived no well organized gang seemed to stay. Never thought about it. Rumor had it even a few MS13 said the area was too hot to do buisness. Which had our local home grown gangsters all sign in relief, lol. They knew they couldn't compete, nor wanted crazy escalation in violence. Shootings are bad enough. Anyway I had a good gig transporting weed, but the money went to everyone else's head. Just 20 to 30 pounds. A trunk full if it wasn't vacuumed. Anyway I would get like 800$ per trip. Just go up. Get it. Then come home. Drop it off. Nothing else. Well guess what. Good things don't last as people start showing off their money trying to get girls or impress people. Or they style themselves Scar Face. Then they get caught and snitch. Or one of the ex GFs snitches. I got out 6 months before it all went to hell. I saw the writing on the wall, and none of them listened. My entire job was to be the lookout. Keep everyone in check. Morons. Anyway we were young and dumb, but what gets me... Everyone I know is still doing the same shit, different day 15 years later.
