  1. Was hoping there next announcement was iron nitrate magnets. Also Tesla should get in on Axial Flux motors. Tiny as hell, light, but extremely powerful. Koensieggs Quark engine is insane. Electric engines are already stupid efficient. We just need those battery break throughs that constantly hear about but never come to fruition.

  2. The lab made lithium solid state air batteries at ROOM temperature! What is cool about air batteries whether it be aluminum or lithium it can therotically also use the surrounding atmosphere lowering the weight of them. Think of it like a jet versus a rocket. Anyway no other battery chemistry has so much potential. I am really hoping it doesn't have any major flaws, and can actually be scaled. Having a battery at half the maximum efficiency that carries 2,500kwh/kg with air included would be absolutely game changing.
