@havoxaerthis7904 So hypersonic vehicles create a sheathe of plasma around them, which absorbs radar signals, regardless of material of the actual missile. I think they also absorb radio, and GPS. Ironically that same heat and plasma that would make them otherwise very stealthy also makes them light up like a comet to other forms of detection! There will be a trail of heat. So stealth really won't be a strength, sort of. I can see a hypersonic missile that cruises stealthily till at a specific moment before accelerating. It will be an interesting arms race to say they least. I still think missiles and guns will be the better option against hypersonic. Lasers for everything else. Need to start making 120mm naval guns that fire at 200rpm, sending guided flak.
