  1. Some but not all. Don't know why they just don't make ships bigger. Square cube baby! That way you don't have to worry about it and can just go around it. Sure for some cargo the canal is perfect but for vast majority of shipping where time isn't a HUGE factor then why not just focus on bigger ships.

  2. I mean there still is the value of it. The benefits would outweigh something like that. China can be very sensitive yet greed allows one to overlook slights.
