The tech in development to make it will help future programs. People don't realize how important EW and sensors will be. I will say politicians need to stop shifting the goals. Leave it to the engineers, designers, and scientists to make it. Better oversight and screw the lobbyists.

@TheLiamster I think longer. You're thinking of the first flight. 1995. Still a good timeline for a 5th generation that sort of shares parts.

@mada1241 Right? Especially with how quickly technology is snowballing. Also the goal 🥅 posts kept moving due to politics. Politicians are like wait scrap that idea, and add this, and that! Then favor companieseven though the has a better item.
