Iran is the most sad of all the countries in the Middle Eaat. When I talk to them(citizens) online. They seem the most down to earth. The most secular. A lot more modern than all the other Middle Eastern countries. They were scientist and engineers too. Their government seems to be such a hindering body. What would have happened if they didn't resort to fanatics. Side note. I find it funny people would revoke critical thinking, because it is deemed "Western." Being backwards on purpose is just dumb. There was a time when Islam was bringing science to the outside world, and not the other way around. Sure the Mongols destroyed that Age. Doesn't mean you cannot go back to it. Obviously the old traditions aren't working. Maybe Allah will send a new prophet to keep up with the rapid changes eh.
