  1. This is why we need to improve geothermal technology to access more points for viable power 24/7 without ruining something. If I was a billionaire I'd make sure my house was on a place where I could use geothermal for heating, cooling, energy, TASTY WATAH straight from Mothers Earths bosom!

  3. ​ @dairallan  Elon Musk isn't God like some people made him out to be and he isn't the devil either. Lithium batteries for static energy storage though is stupid. Save them for other applications. Liquid batteries seem promising from the things I've read so far and are already being tested on larger scales. They can be made from common materials that aren't toxic and mostly recyclable. Not sure what the real cons are outside of being big heavy things - not sure how fast they can go online and offline relative to other forms or how safe they are. Get different opinions on the matter.
