ODST would be an American thing. The Marines would love to be able to be one. Perhaps work with the Space Force. No Japan would be fielding Mechs with Smiley Emojis for faces, and be able to give a thumbs up. Damn China has a working coil gun?

Democracy is slow, cumbersome, and many times annoying. However it is still better than the other major options combined with capitalism to motivate people to work together. All governments fall pray to corruption. Souths Korea government worked, and worked quite quickly. So it is weird to me people are complaining about it in the first place. I guess because it came so far out of left field from what I am gathering.

Without the metallurgy, precise manufacturing, and electronic software? You can try copying an engine all you want, but you aren't cranking it up to full power without it self destructing. I'll be honest.... That is my guess on why Russia and China haven't been able to duplicate western engines. Even their tank engine for the T 14 pales in comparison. So it is like what gives? Like I know they hwve the designs, the grubby theiving twits. Probably have the original blue prints smuggled through some spies ass. So why can't they duplicate them? I came up with that, because no one can ever answer it.

@billlichirie14 Just don't break their curling stones or make fun of the sport! Sorry fellas I just don't find the appeal even if I appreciate the skill. BC all the way.

They already are planning on making cheap systems with the new drone program. Replicator it is called. Anyway an other thing is we spend more on our troops. We pay our soldiers more than any other. I do think the politicians need to crack down on price gouging. A stinger should be effin cheaper now with advances in technology for example. Also, buying from our allies. America ship builders have failed us. While SK can knock out ships faster than any other. We should buy from them instead of artificially inflating crap ship builders who only exsist due to laws. Also start supporting smaller firms. They would give us the best bang for our buck if we could actually use them, and America still has the smartest people in the world moving here. Use them.

We sent Green Berets there if my information is correct. One of Americas top special forces unit for covert operations. Think of a unit with a lot more CIA type, and are well known for training small armies and other SF. Take it with a grain of salt as they don't get the glory like the SEALs.

Uh still no airplane? There are hundreds of F-35s. 500ish in the US, and a few hundred to allied nations. Countries are still deciding to buy it, some to buy more, and some less. Covid really did mess things up globally.

Curious what type of equipment? Clothes obviously. Generators for heat? Supplies to winterize equipment?

Yes. All the above. The debt trap strategy is working for them in droves however it could bite them soon. Look at Sri Lanka and their port for instance. He touches on it but I recommend reading into it. China will do anything to become a super power ASAP. I don't want to get into political fights on YT but read into it.

Hanlons Razor. It is a saying that reads: "Never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity." Think that is what you're after, but the same thing. I don't get these videos. Trump is the most controversial person in America. Of course he is going to get assassination attempts. The assassin was a loser probably looking to be famous. He didn't really have any friends, and wasn't there. And the secret service just were incompetent. No conspiracy is needed. Trump lived, because they were ontop of him, which forced the lunatic to fire quickly, and Trump moved his head. This is why pros shoot body mass. Talk about making a video just to stir it up. Got nothing. No new information. Just click bait.

Vietnamese are good people. Many first generation are nice racist though, haha. Had to keep it a secret that I was dating this girl as her father would've disowned her. For some reason many nail salons are run by the Vietnamese in the north east at least. I always find it curious how certain races/nationalities tend to own certain businesses in America. Hard ass workers and great people once you get to know them and food is great.

@hiraki01 Believe it or not but many Americans aren't happy with our government either. I found it amazing how we actual have relations as many people are still alive and blood fueds run generations usually. Remember being a kid and watching a documentary and seeing veterans go to the country. I figured we still hated each other as I was young. (mid 90s so we started to regain political normalcy.) The CCP seems to really be pissing a lot of countries off in their neighborhood. Either by not punishing their own citizens for doing illegal things in the oceon or putting tons of economic pressure on countries. I don't know if it is pure propaganda though. It's getting hard to tell and I'm sure news is just as biased in other countries.

China needs to chill the hell out. They are pushing and pressing buttons of so many other countries which makes those countries band together. If they'd just take a chill pill and relax a bit on the political side of things they could sit back and watch America fight itself... Instead they lie, cheat, steal, and bind your legs and arm together. It will be interesting to see their influence in Africa.

Uh. Every single war game says otherwise. An invasion of Taiwan would be a massacre. There would be a lot of losses on both sides, but the Chinese would lose. Look at how Ukraine went. Now add 100 miles of water. China doesn't even have enough landing boats. If what you said is true? China would have invaded. Yet they know it would cost them a million men, and thousands of ships just to get a destroyed island with few resources. Taiwan and America would never let TSMC fall into Chinese hands so those facilities would be blown up.

It was Ukraine idea for the first offensive with US leadership trying to also help. They didn't listen to what US either. They insisted on a three prong attack. Their army while still amazing honestly were not western. Intelligence said they had a 50/50 chance. In my mind. They took too long. I will forever be pissed at NATO for dragging their effin feet, and not giving Ukraine everything at once. Yet I think that is the real plan. They don't want Ukraine to win. They want Russia to bleed, and bleed they have.
1
People say this like China isn't a bully pushing fellow Asian countries towards America. America is just the lesser of two evils. Russia is in the same boat as China. Pushing every other country touching them in Europe towards NATO. Because as bad as the West is. They are nothing compared to the other two choices.

We need cheaper and easily mass produced weapons.

@@yangwenli499 All countries are bad to an extent. China just seems like they give absolutely no fucks of late and are upsetting a ton of countries with their practices. I don't like what my country does either but it's what we DO NOT do that drives me the most insane.
1
Agreed. I might be liberal, but there are a lot of things I don't agree with on the far left. Like gun rights. I don't believe guns are the issue. Black culture in the form of gang banging to be more specifically is. We aren't allowed to openly say that are we? Now some of you might tag me as a racist automatically. That is the problem with the far left. They are just as prejudice as any far right. Then mental health. Tackle gang warfare, and suicides, and you automatically get rid of a ton of deaths caused by fire arms. (Also, we never hear statistics on someone brandishing a gun to de-escalate or stop a crime.)

Yeah. Don't bloody us on the home turf. Nothing bands us together quicker than a SNEK ATTACK or playing dirty. Honestly just dividing us would be the best option. Sit back and watch us go at each other's throats. All great empires fall from within. China would be smart not to go to war and be patient. They have their own problems though economically, and are scared of their own population. All while making a lot of countries who aren't slouches themselves who are in their own backyard. Let's hope people chill the fuck out. Not too happy with Biden pissing off everybody either, but I'm just some random dude who reads stuff.
1
Don't sneak attack us for sure. Get us to think we started the war and just being tyrants. Then hold on for as long as you can without playing dirty. If you really bloody us we will come back with more resolve and hate.
1
All great empires die from within or slowly whittle away. If China is patient they could rule. If America and China went to war you have to ask yourself who are the greatest benefactors? India?

I believe most Ukrainians left Crimea 8 years ago. Then Russia started shipping in Russians. So most people there are in fact Russian. So I don't think Ukraine will ever get it back unless Russia has a Civil War. Or they somehow take it back over and do the same thing - basically force any Russian civilians to leave or stay. Either way out of all the provinces? Crimeria is by far the trickiest one of them all if you factor in what those who live there think. Thats what a Ukrainian Crimerian told me anyway.

@edmundleung2098 Sri Lanka and Pakistan are imploding... Sri Lanka has basically no foreign currency reserves to trade and it needs exports to survive. I can't even keep up with Pakistan but from what I gleaned if has gone to the toilet. Which is terrifying as they are a nuclear state with major gripes with India.

Yeah. Everyone should respect the borders, and laws of an other country, period. I am not against immigrants. Hell, I wish Trump was smarter about this. I wish he weeded the smart ones out. Keep the talented ones. Send the rest back. If they are some specialist even. Keep em. I think it is crazy people think they can over populate their country to the brink of chaos. Then send their unwanted away. Refugees passing up multiple countries to get their specific country of choosing are wrong too. You can go back to whatever was the last country you were in if that is the case. Anyway rule of law is paramount. Not that Trump is doing this due to law. He's a wannabe dictator.

I personally think if you cannot assimilate to your country you should not move there. It is that simple. If I moved to China I would learn Mandarin. Not all people fit in. It is okay to not want those people. Luckily the world is big. It is ridiculous for ANY country to have open borders to begin with. America gets a lot of flak for immigration when it is the rated the best. We get flak, because people live in bubbles, and never had to deal with a bunch of immigrants. I'm all for immigration. After a vetting process. The smart, educated, and those with skills can come since there is no way to vet "good hard working people." Everyone else go make your own communities, and improve them. Instead of trying to bleed others.

I mean both Ukraine and Russia live in just as extreme conditions. Hell I'd say Russia even worse in places. Russia has enough time to prepare. Feel bad for the lowly conscript, errrhm brave liberators. Ukrainians have the home field advantage. It's all about the logistics now even if you are mainly hunkering down. Curious if either army is going to try to a massive SNEK attack during it battle of the bulge style.

It takes time and throwing money at a problem won't solve it. I'm always shocked that the German military is ranked below the UKs. France has a good history of fighting across the world in hot spots so I expect their military to rank better but Germany is the EU economic powerhouse. One thing I saw European soldiers talking about is how impressed they are with American logistics. They said that is the key thing they need to work on, and just little things like trucks and such. Anyway I'm glad many countries are going to stop relying on the US. I hope US and EU relations stay strong for sure, but it would be nice to know that the burden of keeping the west dominate isn't just on our backs with China and Russian tensions rising so quickly. German equipment is really held in high esteem. Yet this past year I've been hearing bad things about the Puma and Leopard. I was hoping the US would adopt the Puma but I think we are going with an other home made stinker. For whatever reason we can't make good ground vehicles.
1
A little late to the party. I saw a conversation between some European soldiers and they said one thing EU militaries need to work on is their logistic supply. Basically they admired the US military apparatus and thought their militaries relied too much on it. Is this true?

I'm quite surprised how far Japan went for a country with like no natural raw materials, and the amount of land for other things being so limited. The news and forecasts on it have been real sad to say the least. From debt to aging demographics.

Challenge? Harhar comrade! No thing challenge mighty Putin. Putin challenge Russian people to war because grow soft yeah? No need help Russia strength grows while west become puny. Chechnya ha! More like dementia, ya! If they think they stand against Putin the Bear.

I have basically liked every Iranian I've met. They were always well dressed, spoken, and seemingly more secular than say Saudis. It is really weird to me. Maybe all the hardlining zealots who have power don't leave the country, or go online.
1
@ansh2771 Dude India rape is much worse. Not one indian I've met would argue otherwise. Even people who just worked there for their jobs witnessed some crazy crap. Police didn't seem to care unless you were rich too from what I was told. Rape here in the US is taken at face value because the victim is always right. Legit ruins lives it is ridiculous. IMO names shouldn't be published till after trial.
