@jimj2683 Everyone pro hydrogen skips the volume density problem. Like yeah I just love having my fuel take up most of the space in my car. Batteries have potential. No getting around the hydrogen density problem as far as I'm aware. Well maybe if one of those nano space magic materials which can carry more hydrogen then it can in pure liquid form. Like how water holds more hydrogen in it per volume then pure liquid hydrogen which is just mind blowing to me. To bad we couldn't separate the hydrogen from water very efficiently.

Oh you like carrying huge tanks for your fuel eh? I want to like hydrogen. Hydrogen volume density is such garbage. Even at 700 bars with 22 liters you get a measly 100 miles of range. Whoopty doo! Better with a fuel cell. Still I don't think there is much improvement there therotically either. Batteries are rapidly getting better. They have potential. Lithium Air which finally have been created will be a MAJIOR leap of ten to FIFTY times! We aren't there yet though, but solid state are now releasing. We will have longer lasting, more power, charge faster, and cheaper batteries. Personally I think hydrogen will be incredibly niche. Maybe for remote locations or something where they can make their own. Going from power plant > hydrogen refinery > shipping hydrogen with hydrogen > vehicle. Just doesn't make sense when you can go power plant > vehicle.
