  1. TSMC is nothing without ASLM. Not the other way around. ASLM is nothing without their suppliers in mostly Europe and America. I am sure there are more in Asia, but only one company who's name escapes me is important which is in Japan. Those suppliers for ASLM like Zeiss, and Tymer are Amongst others who are the best in their respective industries. America companies also are the ones designing the architecture for said chips. Is TSCM important? Yeah. They are four to five years ahead of their competition, but that is it. Others in the supply chain for certain parts are unique, and cannot be replaced period. Which may soon be moot with new technologies that may allow America and China to leap frog ahead. I can't remember the name of them.
