I want to see them offroad. I think I would prefer the Hummer. Maybe. Hate the minimalist interiors of Tesla. Give me buttons FFS for standard controls. That is all I'm asking. No need for weird designs for the sake of being different. That crab walk is also amazing. Can't believe Tesla didn't include it. Yet I do like the Cyber Trucks size, and looks.

@andrasbiro3007 @andrasbiro3007 Just because you get use to something doesn't mean it is good. No need to update simple controls all cars have. People are already complaining about no door handles. Manufacturers love the no button fad to save money. Sure I am sure they had reasons to change the proportions, but doesn't mean anyone has to like them. I seen a side by side posted, and I'm not the only one who much preferred the ones showed before. Steer by wire should have been done ages ago. Absolutely should be the future. Electronics when made correctly outlast any mechanical linkage or hydraulics. I hope it is just steer by wire, and not the hybrid systems many cars have which in my mind defeats the purpose, and makes it all even more complex especially when you add in the feedback system. Add torque vectoring, rear wheel steer, electric motors that can be controlled, and everything? It can handle like a dream with different settings. Are people complaining about that? Wouldn't surprise me. Some people think electronics are less reliable. That is the future, and I'm glad they went with it.

Manufacturing is generally where Toyota really excels. Same with Tesla. I can't wait for two things. Solid state batteries which are coming next year in China, 2024. 2025 for Toyota, and others. Then Lithium Air Solid State much further off. If we can get those? Well it will be revolutionary for everything, but the largest cargo ships. We are talking about super light sports car, or heavy duty electric trucks including construction. Then of course aircraft. Passenger aircraft will be smaller, and slower at first. Yet they'd be significantly cheaper for fuel, and maintenence. Think cheaper/shorter flights.

The whole point of an EV is the crazy acceleration. What is the point? Might as well just get an ICE. For the price the performance is bad. This car has specs of an EV from five years ago. Buy a damn Kia EV6 GT. I heard they are fun as hell to drive. Would blow this out of the water for just above 60,000$. I detested Kia my entire life - the car of ultra hipsters. Couldn't believe it, because they changed their logo too. I just saw one blow past us weaving through the highway, and was like THE hell was that? Wasn't till we got to a stop light, and it took off before I knew it was an EV. Looks better in real life. I don't know how much fun this would actually be to drive. There are electric motors that almost triple the HP at only 70kg. No excuse for it being that weak with just 268 HP... I'll give them the benefit of the doubt till I hear real feedback. Just spec wise it really is underwhelming.

@1InVader1 Electric motor is superior. From a balancing to power density prospective. Just need batteries to get with it. Maintenance aside. I still appreciate any new engine tech. This beats other engines (Atkinson?) i have seen. Vane Engines are dope if we can get them to work. 70‰ efficiency.

That would be a good example iif Veggie burgers were tastier. Electric cars are better performance wise now, and only getting better. ICE as we know if is dead unless some company like Liquid Engine manages to get their rotrary diesel to work longer than a few hundred hours. Which would be awesome if they did. I don't hate ICE. Just that it is a dead end.

I effin love the look. To bad it is Chinese. The Kia EV6 GT is also sick looking. Looks better in real life, and a bit toned down. Love the Kia EV6GT so much I would actually look into buying it. Thing is the range is really poor. 100 miles less at around more than 200 compared to the base model. Anyway love the shape of this. A combination of hard, and soft angels is the best The LEDs though hah.

@G82Watts Yes. They are comparing EV trucks to EV trucks. Not sports car OR SUVs. How does that make them catering somehow to Tesla when they do it for virtually all vehicles? Similar class vehicles used for similar things. Comparing it to a Porsche Turbo... The heck. It would be sad if the Porsche lost. Or a Lambo Urus that can run you 250k. (Which I think it still beats if you get the tri motor. Still impressive though as the Urus isn't an EV.) It still is a pick up. Made to do pick up things (apparently.) Love the new Lambo SUV concept. Lanzador. Stupid name, and it looks like a squashed Urus. Yet I really like it hah.

@bigduphusaj162 This is specific metal made for the Cybertruck so it can be pressed. You aren't a metallurgist. Tesla isn't that stpuid. You know nothing about the alloy. Be quiet till you test it for see a test.

@ducanhcun1909 Volkswagen group is struggling closing factories in Germany for the first time ever or something like that. Dream CEO or head of any car company is Koenigsegg. Guy is an engineer and owner with passion. Yet the two run different companies. I don't think Koenigsegg can make affordable cars.
