No one goes out of their way to destroy Native American land. Dealing with NA land is a headache. I have a good amount of NA in me and if the land isn't being used for something that benefits us all? Then put it to use... The spirits don't have to worry about living do they. They'll be fine. There is a lot more dessert out there and they can move in ways we can't. I'm sorry but pointing at a place and saying "This is spiritual" or "this is historical" isn't enough for any culture to stop development. We cannot live forever in the past . How to judge what is incredibly important or what isn't is beyond me.

I'm a liberal and damn I wish they would stop. One we have bigger issues to fry like mental health. Ya know the systemic issue with violence in America. Two, laws don't stop people from doing a damn thing. You'll just create a bigger black market for law-abiding citizens. Three not everyone is a stones throw from a police officer. They also have wild animals that can be a danger to their family and animals. Four - ATF is the worse law enforcement agency by far. Five - my biggest fucking gripe with anti gun folks? They don't ever include the massive amount of times a firearm or weapon for that matter has stopped a crime from happening through brandishing! Just the show of force to deescalate happens all the time yet isn't reported. Should take away suicides. Guns are just an easier to way to do it that is all, but won't solve the core issue.

@CRneu Oh I could care a rats ass about lithium in particular. I'd rather us not mine it and definitely not be addicted to it.. Let China poison their people and land while we get it on the cheap. I am just tired of... "This happened in the past so it is off limits." Mindset. I am Native American and a lover of history and nature. Just... Sometimes land isn't as valuable as people think and the future needs stuff too. Identity Politics also annoys me. "Oh this was our land". Like Native Americans were tree loving hippies that lived one with together in some grand utopia... Nah we were conquering and slaughtering men and children way before Europeans came! I know my people were! All humans - Allof us - are descended from warlike and territorial tribes. My goal is to consume less, toss less, and recycle more. Rare earths are one of the few things we can recycle. I'd like to see money and government put huge money into recycling electronics as a whole because they aren't going away. Yet we don't even know how to recycle plastic.

@MrLenard You can't even type. Quiet. If legally it is their land then yes. If the land isn't, and owned by the government? Then they can hush. Do you go back to the old world demanding land your ancestors lived on? Nah, I didn't think so. Although that would be hilarious if you tried!
