  1. Still sober? I went to quit drinking alcohol after just 4 years of heavy drinking. I literally didn't drink much before that but when I went in to detox I was told to go to the ER. I was admitted and told I had end stage cirhossis. A bunch of complications made me in end up being in the hospital like 8 months out of the year. Kept getting SBP and Hepatic Encepolpathy anytime I was sent home. Well I quit in May but by September I had a bad HE attack and blinked in the ER just to wake up with tubes in every orifice including my throat, and like 6 IVs. It was a nightmare! I was induced into a coma for three days. Two weeks later I go home and then I'm back back in within two days. My kidneys finally had enough and made a suicide pact together. Now I'm dialysis and trying to get on the transplant list which is a huge process. It is insane! Anyway stop drinking. Don't think you're one of those people who can drink 30 beers a day for two decades. I'll be dead within two years or could die tomorrow. Right now I'm the best I have been though but last year I was a corpse and lost all my muscle mass. My body cannibalized ifs self - I weighed 85 pounds and needed help with everything. I weigh 102 pounds today and need to gain more weight probably for a transplant. Anyway please take care of yourselves. Hope everyone is doing well.
