@CorgiCorner You do realize that takes work. Do you know why civilization as a whole keeps advancing for the better? It's because we CAN simply go to a place and purchase food quickly. It allowed us to have spare time and for people to specialize in "x" which benefits "y" who goes into make things easier for "z" etc. Then pass on generation of knowledge and bam a better life for all. If you want to live off the grid and spend half your day tending to your farm go ahead. Make sure you save enough just in case the weather doesn't wipe out your crop.
