  1. They risk their lives not for our coconut obsession. They risk their lives for work and to feed themselves. If we were exploiting them as you insist they'd be growing something else wouldn't they? They do it because it makes them more money than other options, and we are currently the ones to pay it. Now they could charge more but someone else would take their place. They could grow an other crop but they know they will make more. We aren't responsible for their pay, corruption, or way of life. You act like these people are mentally handicapped with no precedence of their own. You act like their government forces them to grow cocanuts under physical punishment. Ever wonder why farmers don't just sell online themselves?
