@jacobwatson3063 I try pointing that out to people. They compare weapon output to WWII. First I point out that WWII was literally a TOTAL War. There hasn't been a modern total war with super powers since WWII. There is a huge difference like you said between a wartime economy, and the cold war style we are gearing up for now. People also forget that the next war for the US will be a Naval and Air war mostly. It will be nothing like the Russian or Ukrainian war who both have totally different military doctrines. The US on a war path would have NEVER given Russia an entire winter to dig in unmolested. Also the US wouldn't really need to worry about boarders... If the US was in Ukraine right now I guarantee you they'd be doing a northern hook around the fields through northern Ukraine or Belarus if they had to. While siminateously invading via the Black Sea and Eastern Russia. Ukraine cannot do that. Russia knows this and had time to build a defense that any army would struggle with. Therefor this war has become an artillery war due to the trench warfare. America's artillery is our airforce for better or worse. Still with all thst said I do hope we do get into high gear. I also agree that factory looks outdated. I bet they will just pocket the surge of extra money for stock holders honestly which is BS instead of creating a better plant.
