@quocdanang6586 The ISS panels don't have to deal with an atmosphere. Any solar panel in space is going to be way more efficient. Also cost really isn't an issue for a project like the ISS. Anyway this is one of the reasons why people literally think putting solar panels in space, and beaming energy down to earth is a good idea. It is possible, but the cost of sending material up is so vast, that it wouldn't make any sense. I can't believe people think it makes sense. Anyway focusing is a good idea if the cost of the lens can go down. Those multilayered panels are great, but super expensive. I always thought fresnel lens already captured light from all angles, and focused it to a point..I was misinformed!
