This is why we need more thermophotovoltaic or TPV cell research. Think solar cellls, but for heat. There was just a break through on them where they get more effiency than a turbine at like 45% effiency. (45% effiency of what I dont know.) It is great as there are no moving parts. Just uses the heat radiation from the source. The issue with that was it only worked at like 2,000 celius. Which is still great since there are a lot of industrial infrastructure that produces that type of heat as a byproduct. So yeah we need to have those at tempatures at smaller scales.
