  1. Battery prices will plateau eventually, yet performance will increase. I firmly believe a 5,000 wh/kg battery is possible or more with lithium air. They can therotically rival gasoline with a specific energy of 40k. Gasoline is like 45k. Max therotical effiency is impossible. So even half that would make batteries 10 times better. The potential is there with batteries. That is why I love them. We will still need ICE for some applications like military. Hybrids would do wonderful. There is an engine with a therotical effiency of 70% called the vane engine. I hope people try to make that too, and pulse jet scram engines. Oh and nuclear cells using TPV the size of a football.
