  1. Honestly you're worried about fringe cases. If the triple redundacy is messed up that bad that vehicle is most likely totalled. I mean the thing is built solid, and high off the ground. Person would have to run over a 2 foot rock or an other car. Like what do you do when the steering rack and pinion doesn't work on a regular car? If it works for planes. It will work for vehicles, and will be the future for sure.
