  1. Second driest year in 110 years has to do with that. Then mismanagement. Weather changing. On top of them just needing more water for their growth. Mainly drought though from all sources I have talked with. Zero mention on the increase locks being the culprit. Although obviously they are using more.

  2. ​ @Kurotama11  haha your comment is so out there that it really made me question what the hell i just read. I don't think perception of time is based on metabolic rates my man. Sure the cocaine you take might make time seem like it goes faster but it doesn't. Perception of time can change though. For instance when I played sports I would get these magical moments I called being "in the zone" where time seemed to crawl. Its also happened to me in OH LAWRD BOUT TO DIE moments!

  3. Nature always wins till it doesn't like the town that did. Better quote is "We underestimate nature". You can absolutely build to resist, and deny it. Just costs a lot in time, money, and effort. We defeat nature on the daily.

  4. Agreed. In in the end it comes down to cost. Let us not act like California is the only one skimping on infrastructure. One of the saddest facts I know is that America uses more fresh water on grass than the next 3 crops combined if I remember. We legit aim to make these death zones around our houses with chemicals, grow inedible invasive plants, and then wash it into the water table. It is just stupid, but in particularly hot places.

  5. I don't mind people being cautious. Like sure, be skeptical. Don't sit there and create fantasy scenarios. Learn about the science. This is safe. At least the genetically modifying the way they are. Genetic modifying is the future whether people like it or not. Modifying male mosquitos is not an issue as long as we don't go over board. As long as we aren't destroying eco systems I am good with it. I just can't beleive people think they will somehow pass on their genes to humans, make mutants, and other stuff.

  6. American here. A lot of us use both which gets even more annoying. Outside of Celsius I think we should just go metric. 100 degree is hot. Zero degrees is very cold. I don't like KPH for some reason. Makes slow cars sound faster in my head. Yet boats and planes use knots and nautical miles. Like WTF.
