A failure on Ukraine and NATO more than anything over the performance of helicopters IMO. They didn't have anti air that could reach out or even seemingly detect the helicopters. They were literally sitting ducks. I have no idea what they thought would happen. That pissed me off. Question is still if Ukraine can ground helicopters to the back lines only then imagine how they'd perform against NATO who has a slew of anti air weapons. Who has aircraft that can perform SEAD, and out range the helicopters. I don't think modern helicopters have the range anymore. They'll get picked off at runways against a foe like NATO. Because you aren't comparing helicopters by themselves. You are comparing them to other weapons. Your comparing if one helicopter is worth 500 to 1,000 drones. Or some ATACMs. Things like that. Drones just simply maybe better in that regard.
